The last month of the spring season is almost over I love this bear, a little romantic and a little happy month. In fact, I understand why weddings are 

held this month, waiting for love in the wonderful weather of spring before the warm weather of summer...And yes, at the end of the month,

ADANA GEZİLECEK YERLER

Düğün mevsimi  başladı öyle değil mi? Bu ay sonu yakın bir arkadaşım evlenecek ancak uçak bileti fiyatlarına baktığımda en uygun gidiş dönüş biletlerin 1300 TL olduğunu görünce gidemeyeceğini anladım. Bilet, kalma masrafı, hediye ve elbise derken çoktan 3 bin TL geçiyor. Bu arada tesettür elbiselerinin ne kadar pahalı olduğunu da bir ara konuşalım... Ne diyeyim üzülmemek elde değil. Düşünürken  insan daha derine kulaç atıyor sanki.

 Ben de bu ruh halinden sıyrılmak için bari bulunduğum şehir ve gezilecek yerleri sizinle hem gezip hem de paylaşmak istedim. Biliyorsunuz Adana; tarım ve gastronomi şehri... Tarım ürünlerine diğer şehirlere kıyasla daha erken ve kolay ulaşıyoruz. Akdeniz iklimi sağolsun yaz mevsimi feci sıcak olsa da bahar ve kış mevsiminde çıkın çıkın gelin Adana'ya. 

Çok seveceğinize inanıyorum. Çok fazla göç alan bir şehir olduğumuzu da belirtmek istiyorum, haberlerdeki o sıkıntılı görüntüler yüzünden Adana genelini öyle düşünmeyin. Klasik turist olarak gelenlerde aslında hep aynı mekanlara gittikleri için bir yazı dizisi paylaşmayı düşünüyorum eğer isterseniz...

Köy ürünleri pazarı ile başlayalım. Belirli rutinlerde belediye kapalı pazar yerlerine sağlıklı ürünlerden, yöresel lezzetleri hatta yöresel ürünleri(sabun, baharat) bulabileceğiz pazarlar düzenlenir. Baharat, yumurta, zeytinyağı hatta asma yaprağı...

Dilediğiniz gibi gezebilir alışveriş yapabilirsiniz. Hatta iki gün önce (belim mahvolsa da) Salamura yaprak yaptık. Taze ve güzel yapraklar sene içerisinde sarma olmaya hazırlar :D

Pazardan alacaklarımızı alıp yola çıkalım. Biraz yorulduk değil mi ? Varda köprüsü manzaralı bir çay içelim. Varda köprüsü ( Alman köprüsü de denir ) 2. Abdülhamit ile Alman imparatoru Kaiser Wilhem tarafından imzalanan anlaşma ile Istanbul-Bağdat-Hicaz demiryolu hattını tamamlamak üzere 1907-1912 yılları arasında inşa edilmiştir. 

Adana, Karaisalı ilçesinde bulunan bu köprü oldukça güzel öyle değil mi :) Karaisalı tarihi eskiye dayanan bir ilçedir, dizilerdeki o meşhur tren yolcuları sahnesinde gösterilen yer olsa da günümüzde daha az kullanılıyor. Tren istasyonu farklı bir ilçede daha çok İç Anadolu şehirlerine giderken bu taraftan gidiliyor ve Adana merkez ilçelerine daha serindir. 

Çayımızı içtik hatta sıkmamızı da yanında yedik. Biraz huzur bulmaya Seyhan göl kenarına gidelim. Kebap yiyelim. Güzel ve biraz salaş yerler göle daha yakın. Daha çok şehir halkı kahvaltı yapmaya göl kenarına gitseler de ciğer kebabı yiyebileceğiniz harika yerler mevcuttur ...

Evimize geldik peki canımız şalgam istedi mi? Hemen hemen her Adana evinde içecek olarak şalgam bulunur. Şalgam suyu yerine direkt şalgam demek dilimize takılmış. Birebir turşu suyu ve şalgam içebileceğiniz yanında simitle :) yerler olsa evlerimizde de vazgeçilmezimiz. Ortaokulda şalgam ve simit dershaneye gitmeden karnımızı doyurmak için birinci önceliğimizdi.  Çünkü ucuz ve lezzetliydi. Biraz damak zevkine göre hoşlanan olduğu kadar hoşlanmayanlar da var. 

Acı ve acısız olmak üzere çeşidi var. Annem kesinlikle acı içemezken ben acılı şalgam bayılırım. Keskin bir tadı var. Şalgam piyasasında belirgin markalar Türkiye pazarında olsa da Adana için sevilen markalar biraz farklı. 

Bu arada ev yapımı şalgamda bu şekilde beyaz küçük tortular olabiliyor. Şalgam iyi bir antioksidandır. Mide ve karacigere iyi geldiği söylenir. Eski ve bilindik bir marka (nesilden nesile olan bir yer) hala tahta fıçıda mayalandırıp insanlara sunuyor. İyi bir şalgam için Güney Adana taraflarına gitmelisiniz. Çarşı taraflarında çok fazla alternatif bulunmakta.
