2024 yılında bol bol dizi ve film incelemesi yazmak istiyorum. Umarım bu hedefimi gerçekleştiririm; izlediğim film ve dizileri sizlerle de paylaşmak istiyorum. Bu yazımda da sizlerle The Archies Bollywood uyarlamasını paylaşacağım. 

Riverdale dizisinin ilk iki sezonu heyecanla izleyen ve Riverdale dünyasını ilginç bulan bir izleyici olarak biraz Instagram tavsiye ile Netflix yapımı The Archies filmini izledim. 7 Aralıkta yayınlan filmin reklamının bu kadar keşfetime düşeceğini sanmıyordum. Bunda en önemli etken sanırım oyuncuların Hindistan'ın en popüler ve sevilen yıldızlarının çocukları olması olması. Sharukh Khan ülkemizde de sevilen ve tanınan bir yıldız onun kızı Suhana Khan bu filmde Veronica Lodge rolündeydi. Khushi Kapoor da Bone Kapoor'un kızı ve Betty Cooper olarak filmde rol almış. Kapoor soy adını birçok Bollywood filminde görmüşüzdür. Bu ailede çok fazla ünlü oyuncu var. Film tanıtım gösterimlere tanınmış bütün oyuncular gelip destek olmuşlar ama... Bollywood filmlerinde o müzikaliteye hepimiz aşinayız. Hatta şarkılarının filmlerinden çok daha meşhur olduğu filmleri sayabilirim. Bu müzikal gençlik filmindeki hiçbir şarkıyı ikinci kez dinlemeliyim demedim hatta aklımda kalmadı bile. Oyunculuk konusunda beklentimin çok çok altında bir hikaye vardı. Çekim atmosferi, kalite ve  60'lı yıllar modası beğensem de ki bana 60'lı yılları içeren temaları çok seviyorum ancak film konu anlamında sıradandı. Veronica Lodge Londra'dan geldiğinde en yakın arkadaşı Betty Cooper ile birlikte bir parti verir. Riverdale yerleşkesindeki en güzel partileri Veronica verir mesajı, yerleşke sakinlerinin partiye katılmaları bilmiyorum ama woow veronica'nın muhteşem dönüşü söylemini bana vermedi. Okul sahneleri çok azdı. Archie karakterimizin kazanova olması müzik tutkusu için Londra'ya gitmek istemesi ve bu arada Betty ve Veronica'ya aşık olması tüm o karmaşa içerisinde yerleşkenin kalbi durumunda olan parkın kurtarılmak istenmesi duygusal olarak seyirci olarak bana geçmedi. Özellikle Veronica karakterini oynayan oyuncunun sanırım ilk oyunculuk deneyimi ama kısık sesle ve yavaş konuşması, karakterin duygularını net olarak ifade edebildiğini düşünmüyorum. Aynı mimik ve ifadelerleydi film boyunca ki diğer karakterlerin de hani çok akılca kalıcı olduğunu ne yazık ki söyleyemiyorum. Böyle harika bir hikaye alanı olup da sıkıcı bir film olması beni hayal kırıklığına uğrattı.
